Operating modes

The air conditioning unit can be operated in the following modes:

z

Automatic

z

Cooling

z

Heater

z

Air circulation

Remote control

All functions of the air conditioning unit can be operated via the remote control.

Automatic mode

In automatic mode the desired temperature merely has to be set.
Depending on the room temperature, the air conditioning unit automatically
selects cooling or heating mode and the fan setting.

Switching on:

Press the On/Off button (Fig. 207,2). The last settings selected are
accepted.

Use the "+" and "–" buttons (Fig. 207,3) to set the desired temperature.

Z

Do not drive on any gradients or inclines greater than 8 % when the air con-
ditioning unit is in operation. Otherwise the compressor could be damaged.

Z

Do not operate the unit in cooling mode for extended periods when the
vehicle is on an incline. Condensation can enter the interior.

Z

The air conditioning unit only runs if the vehicle is connected to a 230 V
power supply.

Z

The external 230 V power supply must be protected by a fuse of at least
6 A. It is otherwise not possible to operate the air conditioning unit properly.

Z

Heating at external temperatures below 4 °C is not possible, as the heating
output then falls sharply. The unit switches to defrosting for a short time at
temperatures between 4 °C and 7 °C. Unrestricted heating operation is
possible at external temperatures above 7 °C.

Always point the remote control at the infrared receiver when using it.

Z

Depending on the equipment, the air conditioning unit can be operated
from a mobile terminal (e.g. smartphone, tablet PC) via an app (see
section 9.4). The Truma app can be loaded for common mobile terminals
via the respective app stores.

The circulation fan runs after switching on. The compressor switches itself
on after no more than 3 minutes. The blue LED (cooling) or the yellow LED
