Eine elektronische Überlast-Erkennung
bewirkt, dass bei zu großer Last die Zentrale
Steuereinheit abgeschaltet wird. Nach Beseiti-
gung der Überlast arbeitet das Antriebssystem,
bei erneutem Tastendruck auf dem Handschal-
ter, wieder.
Eine Dauerbetriebszeit von 2 Minuten darf
nicht überschritten werden! Danach eine Min-
destpause von 18 Minuten einhalten. Ebenfalls
möglich:
1 Minute Dauerbetrieb und 9 Minuten Pause.
Wenn die maximale Dauerbetriebszeit nicht
beachtet wird (z. B. durch andauerndes "Spie-
len" am Handschalter), schaltet ein thermisches
Sicherungsbauteil die Stromversorgung aus
Sicherheitsgründen ab. Je nachdem wie groß
die Überlastung war, kann es einige Minuten
dauern, bis Sie dann wieder weitere
Verstell vorgänge durchführen können.
Der Verstellbereich aller Funktionen ist elek-
trisch/ mechanisch nur innerhalb der eingestell-
ten Grenzen möglich.
Trotz Einhaltung aller vorgeschriebenen
Grenzwerte können, wie bei jedem elektrischen
Gerät, Störeinflüsse von und auf andere nahe
benachbarte Elektrogeräte nicht ganz ausge-
schlossen werden (z. B. "Knistern" im Radio).
Vergrößern Sie in solchen seltenen Fällen den
Geräteabstand; verwenden Sie nicht die gleiche
Steckdose oder schalten Sie das störende/
gestörte Gerät vorübergehend aus.
An electronic overload detector switches off
the central control unit, when the load is too
great. After clearing the overload and pressing
the hand switch again the central control unit will
work again.
A continuous run time of 2 minutes should not
be exceeded. Afterwards a pause of no less
than 18 minutes should be observed. Another
possibility: 1 minute continuous run time and
9 minutes pause.
If the maximum continuous run time is not
heeded (e.g. by constantly "playing" with the
hand switch) a thermal safety component swit-
ches off the power for safety reasons. Depen-
ding on how large the over-load was, it can take
several minutes before any more adjustments
can be made.
The adjustable range of every function is
electrically/mechanically possible only within a
predetermined range.
Electrical disturbances affecting other nearby
electronic appliances (e.g. crackling on the
radio) cannot be excluded, despite adherence to
all prescribed regulations.
In such rare circumstances increase the di-
stance between the appliances, do not use the
same power socket or switch the affected appli-
ance off for a while.

Der Verstellbereich aller Funktionen ist elektrisch/
mechanisch innerhalb der zulässigen Bereiche
begrenzt.
Aus Sicherheitsgründen sind im Handschalter
Sperrfunktionen eingebaut. Verstellvorgänge
können damit zum Schutz des Patienten am
Handschalter gesperrt werden, wenn es der
klinische Zustand des Patienten aus Sicht des
behandelnden Arztes erfordert.
Der Handschalter lässt sich mit seinem elasti-
schen Haken am Bett einhängen.
Das Spiralkabel ermöglicht große
Bewegungs freiheit.
Der Handschalter ist wasserdicht und ab-
waschbar.

ANDSCHALTERS
Weisen Sie den Patienten in die Funktionen
des Handschalters ein!
Die Antriebsmotoren laufen so lange, wie die
entsprechende Taste gedrückt wird.
Die Verstellmöglichkeiten sind, bis auf die
Fußtieflage, in beide Richtungen möglich.
HAND SWITCH

The adjustable range of every function is
electrically/mechanically possible only within a
predetermined range.
Locking mechanisms have been built into the
hand switch for safety reasons.For the safety of
the patient, adjustment functions can be locked
at the hand switch, if, from a clinical point of
view and with the approval of the attending
physician, the condition of the patient warrants
it.
The hand switch, with its elastic hook can be
hooked onto the bed.
The spiral cable allows for greater mobility.
The hand switch is water-tight and washable.

PERATING THE HAND SWITCH
Train the patient in the functions of the hand
switch.
The drive motors will run as long as the
button is held down.
The adjustment functions, except for the low-
ered foot position, can be used in both directions.
