If you connect a USB device (e.g. stick) to the recorder, it is recognised by the recorder and 
the following window appears: 
 
You can select whether you want to perform a backup or an upgrade via the USB device. 
(See also Import/Export) or (Upgrade). 
 

 
 
Hint: 
If you want to save videos from the recorder to a USB stick, please note the video format in
