Anti-DoS attack 

The following functions are available to defend against DoS attacks: 

 

SYN defence: When activated, the system discards SYN flood messages to counteract overload. 
 
ICMP defence: The system detects unusually high amounts of ICMP packets and filters them so that 
an overload is avoided.

 

 

 
Note: Activating the functions requires system performance and affects, among other things, the real-
time capability of the system. 
 
 
Sync Time Whitelist 

 

 
If the Sync-Time Whitelist is activated, time synchronisation only takes place with the listed devices. 
Click on "Add" to add a device per IP or devices per IP circle to the list.
