Disconnect gas pilot line (Fig. 32,
Item. 1
) from gas
control (Fig. 32,
Item. 9
)
5.
Label the flame roll-out switch wires (Fig. 32,
Item. 2
) and disconnect the wires from the flame
roll-out switch (Fig. 32,
Item. 3
).
6.
Disconnect gas control valve wires (Fig. 32,
Item. 4
)
from the gas control valve (Fig. 32,
Item. 7
).
7.
Secure gas supply pipe (Fig. 32,
Item. 5
) with a
cable or rope around the gross control bracket.
8.
Disconnect union (Fig. 32,
Item. 6
) between the gas
valve (Fig. 32,
Item. 7
) and the main gas supply pipe
(Fig. 32,
Item. 5
). Place the gasket from the union in
a safe position.
9.
Loosen air intake hose (Fig. 32,
Item. 8
) and
remove from burner tray box
10.
Remove the nuts (Fig. 33,
Item. 1
) that secure the
burner tray to the boiler and remove entire burner
tray (Fig. 33,
Item. 3
).
11.
Remove inducer motor when boiler requires
cleaning; or go to 5.: “Cleaning of the gas burner“,
page 42.
