6.3 Fitting the boiler cover
▶ Fit front boiler cover [1] with 4 screws to the frame.
▶ Fit rear boiler cover [2] with 4 screws to the frame.

6.4 Connecting the air supply (for balanced flue
operation)
The combustion air is supplied to the boiler either through an external
wall connection, a duct or a separate pipe in the duct.
The dimensions of the supply air line must be calculated in accordance
with the current regulations.
▶ Remove cover panel [2] from the front boiler cover.
▶ Remove front [1] and rear [4] boiler covers.
▶ Fit adaptor [3] (accessory) on the cross-brace and seal with sealant
(accessory).

▶ On-site, isolate the air supply connection from power supply at the
adaptor using a standard air pipe system and seal it.
▶ Observe the installation instructions for the standard air supply
system.
▶ In cascade arrangements, ensure that the boiler is equipped with
a separate ventilation air line.
▶ Isolate the air supply pipe from power supply and construct it to
adaptor using a standard air pipe system according to the national
requirements.
▶ Insulate the ventilation air line to prevent condensate forming (inside
and outside).

An adaptor is available as an accessory for balanced flue
operation.
We would recommend the installation of a silencer in the
ventilation air line, subject to the air inlet aperture
arrangement on the outside of the building.
Insulate the ventilation air line to prevent condensate
being created in/on that line (inside and outside).
NOTICE: Damage to gaskets due to burred edges on the
insertion ends of the pipe parts!
▶ Ensure that the insertion ends are free of burrs.
If chamfering on site is required, only in accordance
with the manufacturer's documentation.
The wind protectors for the combustion air supply and
the flue gas routing must not be installed on opposite
walls of the building.
