mo-CTR - Configuration of System Operation in either MONITOR mode or CONTROL
mode
SETUP CONFIG
MO-CTR
This function allows configuring the System Operation mode when a defect is
detected.
Monitor: Signals the error with a single or double red LED flash on the sensor,
without activating the Stop output. (*).
Control: Activates the Stop output and signals the error with a variable sequence
of red LED pulses.
1 Flash
= TPx – L error (insufficient twisting number)
2 Flashes = TPx – H error (excessive twisting number)
The sensor keeps the Stop output and the error signalling until the error is reset
(either manually through the touch light button, or automatically, depending on
RES-MA parameter setting).
If you choose the Control mode, this is automatically assigned to all connected
sensors, while if you choose the Monitor mode you may assign this mode to either
all or just a given configurable range of sensors (for instance, on a machine having
40 sensors installed, you could choose to program the Monitor mode only on
sensors 7 to 20 – in this way, sensors 1 to 6 and 21 to 40 will automatically be
programmed in Control mode.
Once you have selected the MO-CTR function from CONFIG menu, press to
have access to the function.
If necessary press
to select the desired option
(either CONTROL CONFIG
to activate the CONTROL function or MONITOR CONFIG to activate a
MONITOR function).
Press to confirm.
Only if you choose the Monitor mode
XXX = First sensor of the section to be programmed in Monitor mode.
YYY = Last sensor of the section to be programmed in Monitor mode.
= moves the cursor from XXX field to YYY field
= increases the field pointed by the cursor
= decreases the field pointed by the cursor
Sensors before XXX and after YYY will automatically be programmed in Control
mode.
