Setup Menu/DIGITAL Scale/Sampling/Angles calibration
The angle calibration operation makes it possible to correct any assembly errors of the digital cells,
construction tolerances, etc.
To calibrate the angles, the sample weight (not necessarily known) must be loaded in sequence on
each individual digital cell.
Progressive
calibration (1,
2,…, n)
The weight, and the weighing symbols are shown initially on the display. Keep in
mind that angle calibration is usually performed before sampling. Therefore the
weight value which appears on the display is not real, but only indicative of the
fact that something is present on the scale.
Proceed as follows:
unload the scale and press READY; after 30 seconds, necessary to stabilise
the scale, the display shows the arrangement of the digital cells inside the
plant. Each digital cell is represented by a rectangle and an identification
number.
The
empty
rectangles
indicate
cell
stability.
If not addressed, the cells will be presented arranged in sequence and
without identification number. This display remains as long as necessary to
acquire the minimum dead load of all the cells, then it returns to the normal
weight display.
Load the sample weight on cell 1 when the display reads Load cell 1.
press READY to acquire the sample weight value. The arrangement of the
cells
inside
the
plant
is
displayed
once
again.
This display remains as long as necessary to acquire the weight of all the
cells, when cell 1 is loaded with the sample weight
repeat the same procedure for all the cells of the plant, following the
indications supplied by the terminal
Once the angle calibration for all the cells has been performed, the calculated
angular coefficient value is displayed next to the identification number of each
individual cell.
The angular coefficient can assume the values within the range 0.995 ÷ 1.005.
Press SAVE to record the angular coefficients on the terminal and on the
cells.
If even one of the angular coefficients has a value outside of the range specified
above, the text will appear on the screen next to the incorrect angular coefficient
value and the terminal will indicate
Out of tolerance! Continue?
Pressing REPEAT allows you to repeat the calculation of the angular
coefficients.
Calibration per
side (1, 3,…, 4,
2)
You follow the same indications as for progressive calibration. The only
difference is in the order in which the cells must be loaded with the sample
weight.
