Remove the hook from its housing and use
it to remove the old print ribbon by hooking
it under the cog (

) and lifting it up (

).

Lift out the front roll.
•
Push the print roll up against the spring
loaded green spindle (

) and lift the print
roll out of the compartment (

).

Open the document scanner unit by pulling
it forward as shown below.

The hook located at the rear of the print
ribbon compartment is for use when
removing the print ribbon.

When removing the print ribbon make sure to
remove and save the cog and spigot from the front
roll as these will need to be inserted in the new
print roll.
