No dialling tone when using monitor button

Is your Image 350 line cord plugged into the
phone socket? Make sure the speaker volume
is not set to the minimum (see page 18).

Poor print quality

If there is a problem with the quality of a fax you
have sent, or a document you have copied, the
optical scanner may need cleaning (see
‘Cleaning the optical scanner’, page 44).

Changing the print ribbon

To remove the print ribbon

Remove the handset from it’s cradle before
opening the front panel. This will prevent it
falling off when the panel is open.

Open your Image 350 by pressing the 

PUSH

TO OPEN

button on the front of the main unit.

document scanner unit.

Push up the green buttons marked

and

Once the front panel is open take care not to
touch the optical scanner as this can result in
poor quality outgoing faxes and copies.
