Q: I have installed the GlidePoint software, and after rebooting my
PC locked up. Whats wrong?
A: Once the programmable software is loaded, the GlidePoint takes
an IRQ (interrupt) assignment. If the available IRQ is then
selected by another device there will be a conflict. You can change
IRQ settings for the GlidePoint in the mouse.ini file manually
yourself where it defines the present IRQ. You will most likely
see “Auto Determination” as the present settings. You might also
choose to reselect the IRQ setting in the offending device instead.
Q: My GlidePoint works in DOS, but locks up in Windows.
A: Check the system.ini file for conflicting touchpad device drivers
getting loaded. Check the Win.ini file for multiple load lines.
