Stove/fireplace preparation
When using the MAS, the threads in the cover of the
heating insert must be closed with the enclosed grub
screws.
The accumulator ring modules are placed on the top of
stove or fireplace. The top cast hood eventually included
in standard delivery contents must be disassembled, the
retaining clamps are removed together with bolts. M8
threaded pins (from the accessory kit) are mounted and
secured by a center punch to close the M8 threads (4x) on
the top of stove.
HKD 2.2, HKD 5.1, HKD 7 - 11 and Fireplaces
Place the mounting ring (10077) directly on the heating
insert or fireplace cover.
HKD 6.1 HKD 2.2 k round and DF 33
The flue gas outlet must be disassembled, and the
mounting ring is placed directly on the stove.
For the DF 33 the enclosed sheet metal adapter is
required (see also assembly instructions of the DF 33).
The mounting ring is secured with two M8 bolts on top of
the stove. There are markings in four positions provided
for this. for this.

Watch the recess of the ISO hood (if present). If necessary, cut out the ISO hood. Do not use high-
speed tools!
Assembly
The first accumulator ring module is placed on the mounting ring in such a way, that the circular protrusion
on the bottom of module fits into the recess of the mounting ring.
The next accumulator ring modules are assembled on top without using any adhesives. Make sure that the
wide recess on the module is facing up, and the sealings are not damaged during assembly and seat evenly
inside the groove.
Make sure that the flue gas path through the storage rings forms a continuous spiral.
The mounting ring must be placed directly on the stove or fireplace. Check for level position and tightness,
and make sure that the threaded sleeve in faced in the right direction.
