CARBURETOR AND INTAKE SILENCER – INSPECTION OF

COMPONENTS

In the case of problems with the fuel supply the carburetor should be checked:
First the components should be cleaned and then inspected.

INSPECTION OF THE CARBURETOR

Instruction

See

Figure: Carburetor

Clean the fuel filter (1) and make sure that it is in good condition.

Blow compressed air through the holes in the carburetor housing (2) and the jets (3, 4, 5, 6
and 7) and make sure that there is no pollution to have an easy and free flow.

Check that the clip (8) is tightly seated on the jet needle (9).
