1. Hold the top of the tailgate with

one hand.

2. Pull up on the tailgate handle to re-

lease the tailgate.

3. Lower tailgate slowly.

3. Position tailgate so as to remove it

from pivot points.

Reverse the steps to reinstall the
tailgate.
