1. Place vehicle on a level surface.
2. Place a drain pan under the engine

drain plug area.

3. Clean the drain plug area.
4. Unscrew drain plug and discard

the gasket ring.

5. Open cargo box.
6. Remove the dipstick. Clean dip-

stick area.

7. Allow oil to drain completely from

the crankcase.

8. Clean the magnetic drain plug

from metal shavings and residue.

E:: Presence of debris gives an

indication of internal engine damage.

9. Install a NEW gasket ring on the

drain plug.
