AP Router
– A wireless router is a device that performs the functions of a router but
also includes the functions of a wireless access point. Under this mode the Ethernet
will act as WAN interface and wireless interface will be act as LAN.
IP
– specify the IP address of current interface [dots and digits]
Netmask
– specify the subnet mask of current interface [dots and digits]
Gateway
– specify the gateway to other networks
Protocol
– specify
static
for setting IP address manually and
dhcp
for getting IP address dynamically
acting as DHCP client
Apply and Reboot
– click the button to restart the device and apply all setting changes
The BW2251 Web Interface in AP mode is different from that in AP-Router mode. For
the detailed configuration of BW2251 working in AP-Router mode, please refer to the
next chapter:

System | System Info
Administrator can self-define the device information including the system name, system location and
system contact information of his BW2251.
