When you have entered the output and pressed “PR” you are asked if you want to enable the block. This is
because a user could create different blocks to be used in different applications and enable the blocks
according to those applications.
MENU 46 PROGRAMMING LOGIC FUNCTIONS. ENABLING S3 SENSOR (S5 OR S6), ANTIBLOCK
FUNCTION AND ACTIVATING PROGRAM

Menu 46 of CFV and CFF and of DCFF1 is used to:
1) Set the analogue input 0-10 V to digital operating.

2) Activate antilock function (DCFF only) for pneumatic elevator command using program (S1 OUT REL1,
S2 OUT REL2): By setting “ ” relays 1 and 2 are activated alternatively every 10 seconds if the
respective sensors have not detected any signal within this period.
3) Activate program “ ”. To activate the program, the Menu 15 function must be set to 0 (on both DCFF
boards). If Menu 15 is set to a value that is not 0, the program will be disabled.
MENU 47 PROGRAMMING LOGIC FUNCTIONS. DELETING ALL THE PROGRAM BLOCKS

Menu 47 is used to delete the whole program: all blocks are deleted and enables are cancelled when the
“CLRP” option is set to 1.
MENU 48 PROGRAMMING LOGIC FUNCTIONS. MANAGING TIMER INSIDE PROGRAMS
DCFF1
This Menu is only active for DCFF controller. It is used to set the Timer’s values ON and OFF. These Timer
are only available inside programs. The timers are active only when inserted in the blocks that builds the
program and are not reachable from other menus.

MENU 50 SET COMMUNICATION AND BOARD ADDRESS (RS-485)

This menu manages the communication parameters of the controller with a PC or a PLC. The
communication protocol can be ASCII (proprietary protocol Brovind) or Modbus RTU.
Access the menu and with buttons "+" and "-" select one of the available options:

Mode "PC" is used to connect to a computer to download the data using the software "Datalog". Pressing
"PR" set the Baud-rate speed, selecting between 9600, 19200, 38400, and 57600.
The "Modbus" and "PLC" mode need first to set the addres with values from 1 to 100, and then the
parameter Baud-rate. The mode "no" disables the serial communication.

This menu works only with the RS485 serial communication mode Modbus or PLC enabled.
