Error status #7 Error code appears on the display when the foot switch is depressed.

Probable causes

Check/ repair/ adjust

Parts to be replaced

1. If the X feed does not move and

"E200" is displayed, there is a
malfunction of the power PCB.

Disconnect connector P2 (POWER) from the
power supply motor PCB, and then turn on the
power switch and check LD1 (red) on the power
supply motor PCB.
OK if illuminated.

After checking, turn off the power switch, wait for
five minutes or more, and then insert connector
P2 (POWER) into the power supply motor PCB.

2. If the X feed does not move and

"E200" is displayed, there is a
malfunction of the main PCB.

a. With LD1 (red) on the main PCB not lit,

disconnect connector P22 (POWER) from the
main PCB, and check the continuity between
terminals 1-3 of P22.

OK if



ohms.

b. Disconnect the relay connector (translucent

and connected to XT12/XT10/XT11/XT8) for
connecting the pulse motor to the main PCB,
and check the continuity between terminals
2-3 and 5-6 of the connector.
OK if



ohms.

c. Insert P22 and the translucent relay connector

for connecting the pulse motor connection to
the main PCB, turn on the power switch and
then check LD1 (red) on the power supply
motor PCB.
OK if illuminated.
If LD1 is illuminated during the check in step 1
in #7 but it does not illuminate when the
translucent relay connector for connecting the
pulse motor and P22 are connected, there is a
malfunction of the main PCB.

d. Check LD1 (red) on the main PCB.

OK if illuminated.

3. If the X feed moves slightly and

"E200" is displayed, there is a
malfunction of the encoder.

a. Check that connector P2 (X-ENC) is inserted

into the main PCB and that the color matches.

b. Check the encoder input while referring to

"4-4. Checking input".

4. If the X feed does not move and

"E200" is displayed, there is a
malfunction of the pulse motor and
cord.

a. Disconnect the relay connector (translucent

and connected to XT12/XT10/XT11/XT8) for
connecting the pulse motor to the main PCB,
and measure the resistance between
terminals 2-3 and 5-6 of the cord connector.
OK if 1.89-2.3 ohms (2.1 ohms +/- 10%).

b. If step a. (above) is OK, there is a malfunction

of the main PCB.
