Incorrect white level correction data Execute the maintenance mode function
"Acquire white level data and set CIS scan
area".

First side or second side CIS unit
failure Replace the first side or second side CIS
unit.
3 Main PCB failure Replace the main PCB ASSY.

- Check that the document is not reversed.
- Check that the document is set in the document tray correctly.
