USING THE WINE PRESERVER
1 .
Place the wine bottle on a flat, stable surface .
2 . Insert one of the included Stoppers into the neck of the opened wine bottle .
The stoppers must always be used in conjunction with the wine preserver .
3 . Position the Wine Preserver (the opposite end
from the corkscrew) on top of the Stopper, making
sure that it remains as upright as possible at all
times . If you hold the Wine Preserver at an angle it
will not remove the air from the bottle properly .
4 .
Hold the Wine Preserver firmly and press it down
against the Stopper . When the Pump Activation
Ring is pressed against the Stopper, the pumping
action begins pumping air out of the bottle .
5 . The puming action stops automatically after 20
seconds and a tone sounds . Do not release the
pressure on the wine stopper until the wine preserver stops .
NOTE
: If the bottle is more than half empty, repeat the process a second time .
6 . Lift the Wine Preserver up and off of the bottle . You may feel some resistance
and hear a small popping sound . This is normal .
7 . Return the Wine Preserver to the Charging Base .
8 . Twist the silver ring on the Stopper so the white arrow points to the day of the
month on which the bottle was sealed . This allows you to keep track of how
long it has been since the bottle was opened . To preserve maximum qualities of
your wine, it is best to use the remaining wine within 3 to 5 days of opening .
To open a bottle sealed with the Wine Preserver:
1 .
Press the pin at the center of the Stopper to the side . If the bottle was properly
sealed, you will hear air entering the bottle as the seal is broken .
2 . Firmly hold the wine bottle in one hand and remove the Stopper with the other
hand .
3 . Rinse the Stopper and store in a clean, safe place or on the Charging Base .
