BritePort 8012-G1

9V AC power connector
Use ONLY the supplied power adapter to power the BritePort 8012-G1.

Reset Switch
On the rear panel of BritePort 8012-G1, there is a Reset Switch for restoring the router’s settings
to the factory default values, if required. The Reset Switch allows the user to recover from
situations like forgetting the BritePort’s password, or IP settings.

Indicator LEDs on BritePort 8012-G1

Your BritePort 8012-G1 features indicator LEDs which provides you with your DSL connection
status. Refer to the Figure 1-2 and Table 1-1 for the function of each LED.

POWER

ON when your BritePort 8012-G1 is connected to a power source.

DSL

Flashes for a few seconds and stays ON when a DSL connection is
established.

LAN

ON when an Ethernet connection is detected. Blinks when data transfers.

INTERNET

ON when PPPoE connection is established.
