INSTALLING SAFE-N-SOUND PROTECTA PLUS™ HARNESS WITH 

EXTENSION STRAP INTO VEHICLE

An adjustable extension strap is supplied with the Child Harness. Hook the Safe-n-Sound Protecta 
PLUS™ Harness clip first onto the extension strap catch, then hook the extension strap clip onto the 
VERSATETHER™ Catch on the Booster Seat top tether strap as shown below. Ensure that none of the 
straps are twisted or catching on sharp edges. Adjust the Booster Seat top tether strap (refer to page 24) 
first then remove excess slack from the extension strap by pulling the adjuster strap as illustrated below.

Always attach the hook and remove the slack.

INSTALLING CHILD HARNESS INTO SEAT

A.  Lengthen the Child Harness using the adjuster under the cover (see the Child Harness instructions for 

the adjustment method). Press the Adjuster button (1) and pull the shoulder strap (2).

B.  Feed the left hand Harness Strap & Cross 

Strap through the shoulder slots that are just 
above the child's shoulders. Make sure that 
the Attachment Clip also feeds through to the 
back of the restraint.
