E. Engage seatbelt buckle and tongue. Push
down on the seat, whilst pulling the sash belt
firmly to tighten the seatbelt. This will make
the lap belt tight across the restraint. Whilst
holding the seatbelt tension, ensure to remove
all slack from lap part of seatbelt by pulling
sash belt. For retractor seatbelts, allow excess
belt to feed back into retractor.
Always remove slack from seatbelt
A loose seatbelt is dangerous.

NOTE: Seatbelt buckle and tongue must not
rest between restraint cover and restraint. If
seatbelt buckle is adjustable, adjust buckle as
low as possible away from the restraint.
Push down on seat
F. Replace the comfort pad and centre panel
flap, ensure the harness buckle is repositioned
through the panel, clip any plastic fasteners
that retain the cover. For smaller babies
replace the insert pad (if supplied). Do not use
insert pad if the child's shoulders reach the
lower shoulder height marker or the child no
longer fits the insert. See page 45 for advice
on positioning the shoulder straps.
