14. Mount the Oil Gard® modu le ([ A ] Fig. 21)
as shown and connect wires to the stop
switch.

15. Install the breather tube ( A ) and route the
spark plug wire ([ B ] Fig. 22) as shown.

16. Mount trim cover over the throttle and
choke controls.

1. Install electric starter (if equipped ).
2. Position governor lever in position as
shown in ([A] Fi g. 23).

3. Place large carburetor gasket-adapter ([ A ]

4. With the governor lever in position, loosely
install both control brackets ([ A & B ]

5. Connect governor return spring ([ A ]

6. Position the back plate ([ A ] Fig. 27) and
loosely start the moun ting screws.
7. Mount the alternator ( B ) and the ignition
coil ( C ).
