cleaning and storage
Make sure the unit is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply socket
before cleaning.
The blending blades are very sharp, take extreme caution when washing the jug.
Do not immerse the motor base, mains lead or plug in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning
• Both blade assembly and sealing ring can be removed from jar. Please ensure both
components are dry before reassembling.
• Wash the jug in warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
If necessary, use a washing up brush to get rid of any stubborn food deposits
which have stuck around the blade. Ensure the seal and jar nut are dry before
reassembling.
• Wash jug lid and stopper in warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher. Rinse and dry
thoroughly.
• Using a damp cloth or sponge, wipe down the motor base and dry thoroughly. Make
sure you only use a mild detergent solution.
Quick cleaning method
1. Half fill the blender with warm water and a small amount of detergent.
2. Turn the speed dial to speed 5 for 10-20 seconds.
3. Remove the jug and rinse it under running water.
Storing
When storing the blender, assemble all parts and store in a safe, dry place, out of the
reach of children.

If the plug is not suitable for the socket outlets in your home, it can be removed and
replaced by a plug of the correct type.
If the fuse in a moulded plug needs to be changed, the fuse cover must be refitted. The
appliance must not be used without the fuse cover fitted.
If the plug fuse requires replacement, a fuse of the same rating as that fitted by the
manufacturer must be used. In order to prevent a hazard do not fit a fuse of a lower or
higher rating.
If the terminals in the plug are not marked or if you are unsure about the installation of
the plug please contact a qualified electrician.
In the case the appliance does not operate but is under warranty, return the product to the
place it was purchased for a replacement. Please be aware that a valid form of proof of
