LCD lighting
Select this function to adjust the backlight of the screen. Use the up and down buttons to
select the appropriate lighting level. Press the MODE button to return to the main menu.
Telescope parking
Select this function to move the telescope to the parking position (start position). Switch
off the telescopic control after reaching the parking position.
Settings
Here you can find more details about the adjustment possibilities of this telescope control.
Date and time
The date is displayed in the format "Year-Month-Day / e.g.: 2016-31-12" is entered. The
time is displayed in the format "hour-minute-second / e.g.: 20:15:00" is entered. To do this,
use the arrow keys and confirm your entries with the ENTER key.
Summertime / Wintertime
Select the setting (Daylight-saving) "on" when using the telescope in daylight saving time.
Select the "off" setting when using the telescope outside daylight saving time.
NOTE!
Ensure that this information is correct, otherwise deviations may occur during the
calculations and the objects may not be approached exactly.
Location
Here you can set your observation location. You have two different input options:
1. You can select a city near you from the internal database (select "Country & City").
The countries are listed in alphabetical order in the database. Use the up and down
direction keys to scroll through the list of countries and cities. When the desired city
appears on the display, press the ENTER button.
2. If you enter the data manually (select "Custom Site"), you can specify your location
data manually. Enter the name ("Name"), the longitude ("Lon"), the latitude ("Lat") and
the time zone ("Zone") and confirm your entries with the ENTER key. An overview of the
time zone can be found on page 30.
