b)
Before assembling the hood as a kitchen hood,
make sure that the extraction area has been selected
correctly, and that the selected ventilation channel is
not used as a gas exhaust flue.
c)
A simple and short ventilation channel will allow the
device to work most efficiently.
d)
Make sure that the connections are correctly
insulated, and the exhaust outlet is properly
protected outside the building wall.
e)
Connect the hood outlet to the ventilation duct
using a ø 150 mm conduit.
f)
The discharge pipe should installed permanently,
without bends reducing its cross-section.
g)
No carbon filters are used when operating in the
kitchen hood mode.
B. Absorber mode
1)
Switch off the device and disconnect the mains plug.
2)
Loosen the filter clips.
3)
Remove the filters by pulling them down. Be careful
not to bend the filters.
4)
Wash the filters in warm water and mild detergent.
Allow the filters to dry.

Before refitting, make sure that the filter clips are
on the underside of the filter and that filter inlet
openings match the openings in the hood’s main
module.
6)
Install a fat filter and make sure it has been secured
before using the device.
B. Carbon filter (absorber mode)
It is recommended to regularly replace the carbon filters, at
least once every three months.
1)
Switch off the device and disconnect the mains plug.
2)
Remove the filters according to the above
instructions.
3)
Remove the used carbon filter and replace it with
a new one. The click indicates the filter has been
properly installed.
4)
Install the filter according to the above instructions.
a)
In the filter mode, the device works on the principle
of indoor air circulation; it is not connected to the
ventilation duct.
b)
It is recommended to use a flexible aluminium
conduit, installed at the air outlet, which draws air to
the vicinity of the ventilation openings in the upper
grille. Do not use rigid metal or plastic conduits.
c)
In the filter mode, suitable carbon filters must be
used.

The fat residue on the filter is flammable and may be
a fire hazard.
you always have access to the power plug. The power cord
connected to the appliance must be properly grounded
and correspond to the technical details on the product
label.
ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
PLEASE NOTE! Observe the applicable regulations
regarding exhaust ventilation during installation.
PLEASE NOTE! During installation, ensure that the hood is
fixed symmetrically to the cooktop.
Before installing the device, remove the protective film
from its surface.
We recommend that you install the unit with at least two
persons.
A. Installing the brackets
1)
Mark a vertical line between the ceiling and the floor
at the level where you intend to install the hood.
The line will determine the axis of installation of the
device.
2)
Mark a horizontal line above the stove top (650 mm
for an electric panel, 750 mm for a gas stove). This
designates the underside of the hood.
3)
Place the upper grille mounting bracket against the
wall, approx. 20 mm from the ceiling surface or the
upper limit of the installation space.
4)
Mark the spots for holes in the mounting bracket.
5)
Position the hood main module mounting bracket at
the wall.
6)
Mark the spots for holes in the mounting bracket.
7)
Drill ø 10 mm holes in the marked locations.
8)
Fix the mounting brackets to the marked spots using
screws and dowels.
B. Installing the hood
1)
Hang the main module [7] on the mounting brackets,
lowering it gently until the module is securely sitting
on the bracket.
2)
Align the device and tighten the mounting screws.
C. Flap installation
1)
Attach the flaps to the air outlet [10].
2)
Correctly fastened flaps should be easy to open and
close.
D. Installing telescopic grilles
1)
Carefully slide the top grille [2] into the bottom grille
[3].
2)
Place the bottom grille [3] at the marked area on the
surface of the hood main module [7].
