• With 2 people and the Bottom Bunk in the closed position,
open the Top Bunk 90 degrees.
• Referring to Fig. 5A & 5B, place a ladder 3 ½” from the edge of
the Top Bunk door to the edge of the ladder. The Top Bunk door
will sit directly on the ledger on the backside of the ladder.
• Referring to Fig. 5B, use the piano screws from Hardware
Package #28 to attach the piano hinge to the bunk door. When attaching, make sure
the back of the ladder firmly pressed against the door.

Once both ladders are attached to the Top Bunk, repeat these steps to attach
the Bottom Bunk.
Ladders have a top and bottom. The top has a ledger (outlined in orange in
Fig. 5B) that is 3/4” back from the edge.
The stop blocks and false ladders attach using eccentric
adjusters. Align the false ladders with the ladders above,
then tighten the screws to secure in place. Similarly, adjust
and secure the stop blocks so the Bottom Bunk closes in
alignment with the Top Bunk.
