Removing and Replacing the Valve Assembly
Switch off the Clearway 2 and disconnect the AC mains supply.
Follow the instructions on how to open the case.
To remove the valve assembly, Place the Clearway 2 on its back.
First disconnect the electrical connection from the Flow transducer, then
remove the flow transducer silicone pipe from the valve outlet. Remove the 2
x screws securing the rigid tube then lift up the rigid tube and silicone tubes,
rotating them out of the way. Leave the blower jacket in place.
The valve is mechanically fixed to the rear case with 4 x screws, remove the
screws. The valve can now be lifted out of the rear case.
To open the valve assembly for cleaning, remove the 4 screws which secure
the valve end plate to the valve body, the two halves can be separated. Clean
the valve spool and the inside of the valve body with 70% alcohol wipes.
