Altimeter
Display 1 – Absolute altitude up to 10.000 m (30'000 ft). Zero adjustment within weather-dependent
tolerances. Resolution 1m (3 feet) over entire range of measurement. Diplay: Meter oder feet.
Display 2 – Relative altitude or absolute altitude up to 10.000 m (30'000 ft). Zero adjustment possible up to
10.000 m by pressing a key to display gain or loss in altitude immediately. Resolution 1m (3 ft) over entire

QNH - QHN-input: reduced air pressure input at sea level in hPa or in Hg. Altimeter adjustment via QNH
input, range of adjustment: 950 mbar – 1060 mbar
Variometer
Analogue display - New and well-laid-out multidisplay with separately coloured rise and sink scale and
patented, continuous twin pass is exceptionally legible. Display range +/- 8 m/s with a continuous fine
resolution of 0.2 m/s.
Digital – Display range +/- 20 m/s , Resolution of 0.1 m/s
Integrator - seven selectable average value calculations over 1 – 5 – 10 –15 – 20 – 25 – 30 or 35 sec. 1
update / sec.
Acoustics - ( twin tone acoustics with ASI ) The point at which the tone will sound can be set individually.
The instrument is fitted with an optional on/off ascent and descent acoustic system with two volume levels.
Rise acoustics: ascent-dependent interval with increasingly higher frequency and scale-dependant pitch ( in 1
meter increments ) Descent acoustics: Descent tone/descent alarm can be switched on and off separately.
Descent tone to descent alarm with adjustable response point between -0.2 m/s and –8 m/s in 0.2 m steps.
Descent tone is a continuous tone with an increasingly lower frequency.
Speed measurement ( IQ-COMFORT only! )
Digital display – Digital speed display up to 130 km/h (80 mph). (True-Air Speed) in the separate display
window of the instrument when a vane wheel sensor ( option ) is connected. Display: km/h, mph or knots
can be selected. Various vane wheel sensors are available as accessories.
Adjustable stall alarm from 10 - 150 km/h.
Vane wheel sensor (optional for IQ-COMFORT only )
Vane wheel sensor – for high precision speed or wind measurement with a vane wheel running in sapphire
bearings. Light-alloy vane wheel: 16 mm diameter. Display range : 0 - 130 km/h. Sensitivity: from 1 km/h.
Bearings: Sapphire pivot bearings
Temperature display
The current temperature can be displayed either continuously or in alternation with the real-time clock. The
temperature display can be activated using the OPTION made. Integral temperature sensor on circuit board.
Display in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Range of measurement: -30 to + 70 ° C or corresponding values in F.
Time functions
The instrument has three independent time functions.
Real-time: hours, minutes, day, month, year.
Stopwatch: - Display up to 9 hours 59 minutes, 59 seconds. It can be operated at any time by pressing the
Start-Lap-Reset Function.
Flight timer - Display of real flying time. May be displayed during flight or for any recorded flight in MEMO
mode.
