TECHNICAL FEATURES

–10%, 50/60 Hz. PTC protection.
• Possibility of connection of
impulse or continuous type (12 V
AC or DC 1A) electric door lock.
NOTE. The transformer power sup-
plier primary is electronically pro-
tected against overloading and
short circuiting i.e. no fuses are
used.
Procedure to reset a triggered cir-
cuit:
- Disconnect the mains from the
power supplier
- Remove the cause of malfunc-
tion
- Let the power supplier to cool for
at least 1 minute
- Reconnect the mains to the
power supplier.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
EK/200 handset
After having removed the cover (by
means of front screws - see fig. 6
lower section) fix the base directly
onto the wall , figure 7 , or to the
embedding box, figure 8 or 9.
On walls that are not completely
flat do not tighten the screws fully.
Make wiring connections (fig. 14)
and refit the cover.
EK/1 entry panel
Slacken the screws on the lower
head section to remove the front
plate of the push-button panel,
figure 10.
Remove the protection cover, figu-
re 11. Fix the base to the wall figu-
re 12 in accordance with the indi-
cations UP and make wiring con-
nections.
Optimize the audio volume to the
handset and to the entry panel,
avoiding the Larsen effect, acting
on the potentiometer P1 and P2
respectively, figure 3.
Refit the protection cover. Remove
the name label from its seat as indi-
cated in figure 13 and write the
required information.
Refit the label and the front plate.
EK/300 power supplier
The equipment can be installed
without terminal covers into boxes
provided with DIN rail (EN 50022).
Dimensions are shown in figure 5A.
It can also be surface mounted,
using the DIN rail supplied, but fit-
ted with terminal covers.
Dimensions are shown in figure 5B.
DISPOSAL
Do not litter the environment with
packing material: make sure it is
disposed of according to the regu-
lations in force in the country where
the product is used.
When the equipment reaches the
end of its life cycle, take measures
to ensure it is not discarded in the
environment.
The equipment must be disposed
of in compliance with the regula-
tions in force, recycling its compo-
nent parts wherever possible.
Components that qualify as recycla-
ble waste feature the relevant sym-
bol and the material’s abbreviation.
