Instructor Switch

Redundant interface to instantly disconnect the steering functionality and to return to the
conventional steering wheel. Gas and Brake has to be operated with instructor pedals.

The Instructor Switch is to be used for evaluation, demo and instruction cars.

Content:

•

1x Instructor Switch

•

2x adapter cables for steering adapter

•

2x jumper plug

Installation:

Connect both adapter cables in between the connectors X21 and X22 of the steering actuator.

By pressing the switch during the normal operation of the joysteer system, both motors of the
steering actuator will be immediately disabled and the steering wheel can be controlled
conventional.

Once the switch was activated, switch off the joysteer system, pull out the Instructor Switch
back in normal position and restart the joysteer system.

In the case the Instructor Switch is no more used, you can keep the adapters cables connected
and put the additional jumpers instead of the Instructor Switch.
