7.1

Communication toolbox

The communication toolbox includes:

USB- RS 232 adapter

CAN Dongle

Programming Box

The USB- RS 232 adapter is required to connect the Programming Box

The CAN Dongle is required to communicate with the joysteer® system to set the
parameters

The RS 232 program box is required to perform a SW update.

The communication toolbox does not include a computer.

The communication toolbox is required only once per each dealer and is not related to one
specific joysteer® system.

7.2

CAN Dongle

The CAN dongle is required to communicate between the Servicemanager and the joysteer®
system to set / change the parameters.

The CAN dongle is not related to one specific joysteer ® system. It’s recommended for demo
/ Eval vans and the evaluators.
