Steps

To replace the short pulsation hose of the milking
cup, follow the steps in

Scheme 19-2

STEP ACTION

Remove the Oetiker clamps (1 and 2) (see

Figure 19-5

) from the short

pulsation hose.

Remove the short pulsation hose (3) from the connection piece (4) and

the tulle of the milking cup (5).

Place the new short pulsation hose in hot water.

Assemble the short pulsation hose with the correct Oetiker clamps (see

Figure 19-6

) to the connection piece and the tulle of the milking cup.

ATTENTION

Don’t slide the pulsation hose completely to the top. Leave,

because of air leakage along the cup and cup liner, about 5

mm space between the teat cup and pulsation hose.

ATTENTION

The Oetiker clamps contain projecting parts. Assemble
these clamps as much as possible with the projecting part

facing inwards.
