Steps

To replace the tooth belt encoder X axis, follow
the steps in

Scheme 24-6

STEP ACTION

Unscrew the bolts of the clamping block (1) (see

Figure 24-31

) at the

left side of the encoder.
The tooth belt is loose at the left side then.

Also unscrew the bolts of the clamping block at the right side of the

encoder, to loose the tooth belt at that side.

Figure 24-32

displays how the tooth belt goes from the clamping block

at the left side around the left pulley (1), then around the encoder (2)

and then around the right pulley (3) to the clamping block at the right
side.
