Transportation, e.g. if moving house
Preparatory work
1.
Disconnect the mains plug.
2. Turn off the tap.
3.
Remove the water supply and drain hose.
4.
Wait until the water has cooled in order to prevent scalding.
Drain the remaining detergent solution.

5. For easier transport, slightly pull out the handle at the bottom
of the appliance on the front (depending on the model). If
necessary, use foot to help pull out the handle fully.
Fitting the transport lock
1.
Refit the transport lock.
2.
Transport the appliance in an upright position.
Before initial use:

– You must remove the transport lock.

– Return the transport handle to its original position.
– To prevent unused detergent from flowing straight into the
drain during the next wash: Pour 1 litre of water into the drum
and start the
drain or clear/drain programme (depending on
the model).
