4. Detergents and care products
1.
The detergent that should be selected depends on:
– Fabric type
– Fabric colour
– Washing temperature
– Type and degree of soiling

– Do not use liquid detergent if the "Delay start” function is set.
– Do not use liquid detergent for the main wash if the "Pre-
wash” additional function has been selected.
– Only use detergent and care products for domestic washing
machines.
– Dilute thick fabric softener and conditioner with a little water.

Measure accordingly:
– Manufacturer's instructions
– Type and degree of soiling
– Water hardness (ask your water supply company)
– Size of load (half load = 3/4 dosage, minimum load = 1/2
dosage)

– Using too much detergent results in increased foaming and
has an adverse effect on the cleaning action.
– Using too little detergent causes the laundry to turn grey and
results in limescale build-up.
– Add highly concentrated powder and liquid detergents
directly to the drum.

To add detergent and care products:
– Do not fill the detergent or care product over the "
MAX "
mark.
– For programmes without a pre-wash and with
temperatures between cold and 40 °C, you should use
liquid detergent. Likewise if "Delay start” is not activated.
This prevents detergent residues.
