3.4.1 Design
As the new heating duct contains 2x 920 W heating elements, the
drying process can be implemented in 2 stages with a total of 1840 W.
To reduce heat losses, the heating duct is thermally separated from
the fan by a seal.

The temperature is controlled by an
NTC
at the inlet to the gasket.
Cottons/coloureds: 87 °C–90 °C
Easy care:
67 °C–70 °C
Safety temperature: 105 °C

In addition a resettable safety temperature controller monitors the
maximum permitted temperature. (150 °C)
During the
warm spin cycle
(54 UpM) only one heating element is
actuated!
