3.3 Drying
cycle
During the drying cycle the fan (2) blows air into the heating duct (10).
The air is heated there and then transferred into the drum and
washing solution tub via the gasket (9).
The warm air absorbs the humidity from the washing and is drawn by
the fan through a connecting piece (5) into the vortex condenser (4).
To support this process, cooling water is sprayed in via a solenoid
valve (1) to cool the air. This process is controlled by evaluation of the
temperatures on the NTCs of the drying cycle.
Surplus water is pumped out of the water solution tub via the drain
pump (7).
At the start of the drying programme a
warm spin cycle
is run as soon
as a temperature of 54 °C has been reached on the NTC in the
tub (
NTCD1
).
