If a short or open circuit is detected on the inlet water NTC
sensor, a warning is shown.
Error is resolved when the sensor open or short circuit is
repaired.
E9
Temperature limiter or thermal fuse opened circuit
If the temperature limiter detects a temperature over 85ºC,
the appliance shuts down and goes to lockout.
Error is resolved by manual reset after temperature limiter
cool down and contact close again.
If the thermal fuse contact opens (192ºC) in the vent of an
overheating and malfunction of temperature limiter the
appliance shuts down and goes to lockout.
Error is resolved by manual reset after replacement of
thermal fuse and circuit close contact again.
Lock out
EA
No ionization during safety time (safety timeout)
If no ionization signal is detected after start-up sequence,
appliance locks.
Error is resolved by manual reset.
Lock out
EE
Gas valve wrong connection
If a safety solenoid from the gas valve is disconnected, the
appliance must lock.
Error is resolved by manual reset.
Lock out
EF
Wrong gas type
If an output higher than expected is obtained, the appliance
shuts down.
Error is resolved by manual reset.
Lock out
F7
Ionization error
If ionization is detected without heat demand an error is
shown and the appliance must lock.
Error is resolved by manual reset.
Lock out
FA
Leakage on gas valve
When heat demand is removed, appliance closes only one
safety valve. If ionization is present for more than 4s, a
leakage on that safety valve is present. Appliance closes
the remaining safety valves and goes to lock.
If no leakage is detected, after the next water demand the
safety valves closing order is inverted.
Error is resolved by manual reset.
Lock out
EC
Ionization loss
With burner on, when ionization signal is lost 3 consecutive
times, the system will shut off. Error is resolved by manual
reset.
Lock out
E8
Internal Checking Failure
Error is resolved by manual reset. If error persist replace
control unit.
