unsuitable temperature being selected.

The “i-Temp advanced” function does
not apply to fabrics that cannot be
ironed.
Please check the garment care
label for details or try ironing on a part of
the fabric not visible normally.
When the “i-Temp Advanced” function is
selected, the blue light inside the temperature
control comes on.
“antiShine” function
(model dependent)
This compact steam generator has a unique
“AntiShine” function.
ℹ
If this function is selected, the risk of shiny
marks on the garment due to the ironing is
reduced.
When the “AntiShine” function is selected, the blue
light inside the temperature control comes on.

Tips for ironing:
• Sort your garments according to their care
labels, always starting with clothes that have
to be ironed at the lowest temperature.
• If you are unsure what type of material
the garment is made from, select the
“i-Temp Advanced” function.
• To prevent shiny patches on dark or delicate
garments like silk, woollen or synthetic
materials, select the “AntiShine” function.
• If you start ironing at a high temperature and
then select a lower one, the soleplate may take
a while to cool down. To speed up the cooling
process, you may press the shot of steam button
(6) or press the steam activation button (2*).

Setting the steam

Your iron is equipped with a steam setting
selection button (4) and with indicator
lamps (5) showing the steam setting,
according to the table below:

Steam can be generated by gripping the handle
(1), or by pressing the steam activation button (2*).

If the “eco” steam mode is selected, the
energy consumption of the appliance
will be reduced by means of reduction of
electricity and water consumption. A good
ironing result can be obtained on this
setting for most garments.
1. The steam setting can be changed by
pressing the steam setting selection button
(4). The iron runs through the following cycle:

“SensorSteam” function
ℹ
The “SensorSteam” function switches
off the iron when the handle is no longer
gripped, thus increasing safety and saving
energy.
1.
Initial heating up process:
After plugging
in the appliance, this function will be inactive
until the iron heats up to the set temperature.
2. After the initial heating up period, the
“TempOK” lights inside the temperature
control (15) stop lashing and “eco” setting is
automatically selected.
3. From this moment on, When the handle (1)
of the iron is gripped, the “SensorSteam”
indicator lamp (5) stops lashing and the iron
switches on.
4. Immediately after releasing the handle of the
iron, the “SensorSteam” indicator light will
start lashing, indicating that the iron is about
to switch itself off.
5. When the handle is gripped again, the iron
will automatically switch itself back on and will
start heating up again.
If the iron is left unattended for more than eight
minutes, once the handle is momentarily or
continuously gripped again,
the initial heating
up process will start again.
