Sensors

Encoder

Encoder and encoder connection components are not included in the scope

of delivery of the motor. Select the components according to the require‐

ments of the machine.

Temperature Sensors

To ensure safe motor protection against thermal overload, temperature sen‐

sor SNM150.DK must be connected to the drive controller. Observe the re‐

spective connection diagram for the selected connection type (flange socket

or terminal box) when connecting the temperature sensors. Further informa‐

tion on the temperature sensors can be found in the project planning manual

Rexroth IndraDyn T.

Temperature sensor KTY84-130 is a component that might by

damaged by ESD! For this reason, the wires of the sensor are

protected by a protective foil at the connection cable. Before con‐

necting the sensor, take appropriate measures for ESD protection

( ESD = electrostatic discharge).

6.4

Coolant Connection

The liquid cooling system on the stator should be connected in such a way

when the stator is installed vertically that the coolant is fed in at the bottom

and coolant outlet is always at the top.
