Installation

6.1

General Information

The machine manufacturer has to consider the special characters

of his construction and must work out special mounting instruc‐

tions for the rotor and stator motor components. The machine

manufacturer's mounting instructions are the only binding guide‐

lines.

The project planning manual

Rexroth IndraDyn T contains suggestions on

assembling the rotor and stator components. These suggestions can be un‐

derstood as a guideline to estimate the necessary assembly efforts and to

provide the mounting tools required, such as spacer sleeve, clamping ring, in‐

sertion and centering tool.
The scope and sequence of the steps described in the project planning man‐

ual can be influenced by the special features of the machine construction and

the process.

In addition to the mounting instructions following below, also ob‐

serve the information on motors of frame size 210R in the project
planning manual

Screw lock

All screwed connections must be secured against potential impacts and vi‐

brations during operation of the machine. A suitable and field-tested screw

lock for all metal thread connections is, e.g., Loctite 243.
Loctite 243 is a liquid screw lock (medium-hard) and is applied to the parts to

be mounted immediately prior to assembly. For detailed information on the

proper handling and processing, please refer to the manufacturer's data

sheets under
