The devices of the VDP family are basically certificated according to
•
UL508 (Industrial Control Equipment) and
•
C22.2 No. 14-M95 (CSA)
However, it is possible that there are combinations or extension stages
with restricted or missing certification. Thus, verify the registration
according to the UL marking on the device.
Note: To guarantee an UL/CSA-compliant operation, you have to
fulfill the following conditions:

Use 60/75

C copper wire only.
•
Use Class 1 wire only or equivalent.
4.5 Wear Parts
The service life of the backlight is limited to a certain number of
operating hours. After this time the backlight will produce only 50 % of
its original brightness. This time differs for the used displays:

Also fans are mechanic wear components, whose service life is
extremely temperature-dependent. For the fan the manufacturer
specifies the following service life:
Ambient temperature

4.6 Compatibility Test
All Rexroth controls and drives are developed and tested according to the
latest state-of-the-art.
As it is impossible to follow the continuing development of all materials
(e.g. lubricants in machine tools) which may interact with our controls and
drives, it cannot be completely ruled out that any reactions with the
materials used by Bosch Rexroth might occur.
For that reason, test new lubricants, cleaning agents, etc. for compatibility
with our housings / our housing materials before using the particular
material concerned.
