9.2 Repairs
For more information on warning and error messages, see chapter 14,

The process to exchange a defective lifting module is described in the
documentation
3 842 542 093, HEAP - exchanging the lifting module.
9.2.1
Initializing the lifting modules (RESET)
During initialization (RESET), the control synchronizes the lift heights of
the connected lifting modules.
NOTE!
Uncontrolled movements during initialization (RESET)
The lifting modules may be damaged or their service lives shortened.
Make sure that no mechanical connections limit the movement of the
lifting modules.
Control unit does not function if the contact bridge or the control unit
control strip is not inserted!
(Display:
A 69)
The connected lifting modules must be initialized (RESET)
• the fi rst time a control is commissioned.
• if a defective lifting module is replaced.
• if there is a warning message (A 64: forced RESET), e.g. if the power
failed while the lifting modules were in motion.
The reset movement (initialization) is carried out with reduced
performance (speed).
