Fill the unit with tap water only.
Never mix combustible, poisonous, caustic or
other liquids (e.g. cleaning agent) with the filling.
Filling with Water

When filling, take care that the grid over the
rubber surge protector 3 is not pressed in by
the filling container.
Refilling with Water
Take care when loosening the
tank cap.
Danger of scalding!
Procedure:
Switch off the unit.
Pull the mains plug.
Wait
at least
one minute.
Only then open the tank:
–
Turn the tank cap lightly counter clockwise to the
first stop (position
2.
).
–
Allow steam to escape
until no more steam is
emitted.
Press down tank cap.

Continue to turn counter clockwise to position

and remove.
Fill with water to the
maximum
marking
on the water level indi-
cator

. If the unit is filled with
warm water, the heating time is
shortened.
Close the tank securely after filling:
Place on the tank cap (position

), press down and
tighten clockwise to the stop.

Pay attention to the

on the water
