and safety information are read

contained therein are strictly fol-
lowed.
Working with hot steam can lead to
severe scalding!

body, at other persons or at ani-
mals!

rectly above your head.
Wear protective gloves!
Steam can escape from the unit.
■
Connect machines that are used in the open via a
residual current device (RCD) with an actuating
current of 30 mA maximum. Do not operate the
machine in rain or moisture.
■
Before each use of the machine, check the cable
and plug. If damage is detected, do not use the
machine. Have repairs performed only by a quali-
fied technician. Never open the machine yourself.
■
If the cable is damaged or cut through while work-
ing, do not touch the cable but immediately pull the
mains plug. Never use the machine with a dam-
aged cable.
■
During pauses in the work, when not in use or dur-
ing work on the machine itself (e.g., changing of
the working tools, repairs, cleaning, adjustment),
pull the mains plug.
■
Never switch on the unit without filling with water.
■
Never submerge the unit in fluids.
■
Fill the unit only with tap water.
Never mix combustible, poisonous, caustic or oth-
er liquids with the filling.
■
Do not exceed the maximum filling capacity (2.4 l).
■
Before removing wallpaper, cover the switches and
sockets on the walls so that they are water and
steam tight.
■
The machine may be connected only to a properly
earthed power system. The socket and extension
cable must have a functional protective conductor.
■
Befor each use, completely unwind the cable.
When using an extension cable: The cable cross
section should be at least 3 x 1 mm
2
.
■
Tightly close the tank and the bayonet connections
before putting into operation (see
Before Use
).
