Configuring the NetDVR
Select the NetDVR in the explorer frame of the ‘NetDVR ConfigStation’ window.
•
Click the IP address or the Nickname.
3.1 Log-in screen
To enter the NetDVR’s parameter set-up:
•
Enter the administrator’s Password of the
device.
Note:
Entry to the configuration settings of the NetDVR is
possible only with the administrator’s password. The
default password of the NetDVR is ‘admin’.
If ‘Save Password’ is checked, it is not
necessary to enter the Password every time you
log in. ‘Save Password’ function can only be
utilized if the NetDVR is registered on the ‘My
Cameras’ folder.

Click on the “Login” button.
or
•
Click on the “Configure” button to re-enter
the configuration program when the password is still valid.
or
•
Click on the “Exit” button to terminate the configuration program.
3.2 Device Information (‘Information’ tab)
The ‘Information’ tab displays setting information for the selected camera. The following
are set up when the camera is manufactured and cannot be changed:
•
Model name
•
Hardware version
•
Software version
•
Serial number
•
Mac Address
3.2.1 Camera description
The ‘Description’ may be changed using up to 30 English characters and/or numbers. To
change the description:
•
Click on the cell to the right of ‘Description’ (the default text is ‘Welcome’).
•
Type in the new description and press the ‘Enter’ key.
•
Click ‘Apply’ to upload the new setting in the NetDVR.
