Appliance care
Clean the hob every time that you use it, so that food
remains are prevented from being baked on to the
surface.
It is best to use the glass scraper to clean the hob.
Caution!
The blade is very sharp.
First remove all traces of food or grease splashes with the
glass scraper. Allow the blade only to come into contact
with the ceramic surface. The casing might scratch the
ceramic. If a blade becomes damaged it should be
replaced immediately.
Make sure you secure the blade after use. Your hob will
have been supplied with one of the following types of
glass scraper.
To secure blade: Push the casing forward with your
thumb.
While the hob is still hand-hot, it should be cleaned with a
suitable cleaning agent and kitchen towel. Afterwards it
should be washed off and then rubbed dry with a clean
cloth.
Water stains can also be removed with lemon juice or
vinegar. These are acidic, so if they drip onto the hob
surround, make sure you wipe them off straight away with
a wet cloth, otherwise dull spots will occur.

Appliance care
Never use high-pressure cleaners or steam jet cleaners.
Just wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn
soil add a few drops of washing-up liquid to the water. Dry
with a dry cloth.
Never use strong or abrasive cleaning agents, as these
can leave the surfaces looking dull. In the event that such
cleaning agents are spilled onto the appliance, wash the
surface immediately with water.
A protective care agent will provide the ceramic surface of
your hob with a shiny, dirt-repellent coat which ensures
the long-lasting attractiveness of your hob and facilitates
cleaning. We recommend you use “cera-fix”, which can be
purchased from drugstores, hardware / household
appliance stores, department stores and supermarkets..
