Maintenance (only for approved contractors)

▶ Hold down for 3 seconds.
The value flashes as confirmation.
▶ Press the key.
The display shows "P1".
▶ Press until the display shows "P2".
▶ Hold down the key for 3 seconds.
The value flashes as confirmation.
▶ Press the key.
The device starts with the default setting.
7.5 Converting gas type
Only use the gas type conversion set that is supplied. The
conversion must only be carried out by approved contractors.
Installation instructions are supplied with the gas type
conversion set.
8 Maintenance (only for approved
contractors)
In order to ensure that the optimum values for gas consumption
and flue gas emissions are maintained, we recommend that an
annual inspection is carried out and that, if necessary,
maintenance work is performed.
▶ The wall mounted boiler must only be maintained by
Bosch's Technical Service.
▶ Only use original spare parts.
▶ Refer to the spare parts catalogue when ordering spare
parts for the device.
▶ Replace removed gaskets and O-rings with new ones.
▶ The following lubricants are approved:
– Hydraulic connections:
Unisilikon L 641 (8 700 918 024 0)
– Screw fittings (gas): HFt 1 v 5 (8 709 918 010)
8.1 Removing the casing
▶ Pull the fascia (Fig. 21, [1]) slightly forwards to remove it
from the device.
▶ Remove the 5 retaining screws for the casing (Fig. 21, [2]).

▶ Remove the casing.
▶ Fasten the device vertically on the wall.
8.2 Regular maintenance
Function check
▶ Check all safety, regulating and control equipment.
Combustion chamber
▶ If cleaning is required:
– Remove the combustion chamber.
– Clean the combustion chamber with a water jet in the
longitudinal direction of the fins.
▶ If contamination cannot be removed: Immerse the fins in
hot water with a detergent solution and clean them
carefully.
▶ In areas with medium/high water hardness: Decalcify the
internal body and connection pipes of the device.
▶ Install new gaskets to the internal body of the device.
Burner
▶ Carry out an annual inspection of the burner and clean it if
required.
In the case of heavy contamination (grease, soot):
▶ Remove the burner.
Maintenance must only be carried out by
approved contractors.
DANGER: Danger from electrical discharge!
▶ Before starting work on the electrical
parts of the device, always disconnect
the power supply (fuse, circuit breaker).
NOTICE: Damage to the device!
Damage to the internal body of the device.
▶ Do not apply too strong a water jet or a jet
direction that differs from that given in the
information.
